Google changed his algorithm many times, wiping out thousands or even millions of small business owners from their search results in a second pushing them to bankrupt. We are not taking about junk sites (which shouldn’t be there), but real content sites of business owners who don’t know what to do in order to be favored by Google. You even don’t know the rules of the search results and if you don’t know the rules, business is very risky.

f you rely entirely on Google for your future, you are taking an extremely high risk; this is why search engine experts diversify a lot of their endeavors because you cannot trust in Google.

#2. You Are Guilty Unless Proven Innocent.

To Google, every website owner is a wannabe spammer who wants to pollute the search engine with millions of junk sites. In reality, the search engine spammers are a few aggressive marketers, which will do whatever it takes to get traffic to their websites, but the majority of webmasters are guilty by default.

3. Google Is A Corporation Not A Person.

Corporations are like machines, they don’t have feelings, don’t help anybody for the sake of helping, they do it just for profit. Profit is what drives the maneuvers of a corporation, not feelings. How to feel about friends that only help you if you give them money? That’s not a friend, that’s a worker.

4. I Think Google Sometimes Is Deceptive.

Google says that varies the results to bring more quality information to the searcher, but in reality they are pushing people into their PPC advertising machine. That is happening more and more with sites that have a lot of links, lot of popularity and are surpassed in the search results by other companies with less links and less popularity. I wonder if you will only find worthless sites at the top results to push most businesses to their PPC advertising system.

5. Friends Don’t Kill You.

Google sometimes de-list websites without warning. There is nothing wrong with that, it is their company, their search results, they can do whatever they want with this, but when you ban people from the engines, you are affecting other people by your actions. Put it in this perspective: Suppose you build your own road and people start using this road for free every day, but one day you decide that some part of the road shouldn’t be there and you move it without warning all the cars that use that road every day. Instead of a road you leave a hole, many people die as a result but you only say: That wasn’t my fault, they should knew better about using a free road…

This is not ethical my friend.

If you use Google to build your business, I urge you to start building another streams of traffic immediately! Because you could be the next car who fall into the hole and that is not funny at all.

I use this to protect myself from SPAM

Every time a person contact me by a web form, I create a forwarder in my hosting account and setup a masquerade email to give it to this person so each people has his own personalized email. This allows me to delete any Spam source that appears in my account and all was working fine until I reached more or less 20 email masquerades and now I can’t log into my account.

Is Google Losing Tech Ground?

Hope not, but I can’t login to my Gmail account for several days now and the same message appears every time I try:

Needless to say, I already redirected all my incoming forwarders to another email address.

Microsoft closed down the site where Vista source code was uploaded, but before they could shut down, it already was distributed.

Crackers from Macedonia were able to distribute Windows Vista Source Code, operating system currently pushed by Microsoft without good results. The crackers spokesman Loo Flirpa said that Windows Servers are “playthings for the children,” and they get the code while making some “training hack” at servers located at Seattle.

According to PcWorld New Zeland, the source code is legit. They said this after thorough analysis and also they presented a fragment of the source code.

We are not going to be like some “Microsoft haters” and recommend anything but Microsoft, but we are going to be as neutral as possible so you can decide by yourself if you continue using Internet Explorer or you should switch to something else in order to protect not only yourself, but also the future development of the Internet.

The reason why I’m writing this post is because you should know if someone is trying to manipulate you or is involved in some questionable business practices that impact directly in the development of the product you use and maybe on the Internet itself, so don’t take this review slightly.

All the reasons in this post are taken from known sources on the Web and this was not intended to scare anybody or push you to adopt some negative posture, this is only probably the most informative article on what you should know about Internet Explorer to decide if you should continue to support this program.

This killed innovation for a very long time. Why Internet Explorer was updated to 7.0? Probably because Firefox is growing very fast and now is around 10% market share, which proves that Microsoft only moves when there is a serious threat.

2. Microsoft tries to control the Internet

Microsoft doesn’t want standards very much because if all products support the same standards, them it is impossible to differentiate a product by “features”, thus making it less marketable. So what is the Microsoft solution to this? Create non-standard tags in the HTML language, so developers start using them, making the pages with those standards look bad in other browsers, making user blame the browser, not Microsoft. This is very smart, but also pure evil.

Due to great criticism, Microsoft is leaving this practice, adopting the standards, but who knows how long it will last.

3. It Is A Disaster From The Security Stand Point

In an effort to build feature after feature, the design of Internet was severely flawed and now it is very difficult to make it secure. Even the CERT (Computer and Emergency Response Team) warned at some point that users should not be using Internet Explorer.

The biggest security flaw from Internet Explorer comes from a “feature” known as Active-X. Active-X is a system that allows programs to execute from inside the browser, but also this could be the main source of major security problems.

4. If You Are A Webmaster You Already Hate Internet Explorer.

We as webmasters are so sick about Internet Explorer flaws on CSS, and other standard technologies that we have to make two versions of our pages so they look good on Internet Explorer and another version of the same page for other browsers.

The best indicator that Internet Explorer is NOT a good program is that most people that try Firefox, don’t regret and never look back to use Internet Explorer another time and this also speaks well for the Firefox Browser.
