The Mozila web browser is amongst the most used browsers around the planet because it is easy to use and has a great interface.

Another wonderful aspect of Mozila is that it supports almost all software types which is not the case with most other browsers. Also you will get loads of plug-ins as well as extensions developed for Mozila that could be customized for almost everything you want.

You Could Increase The Performance of Mozila

However, there will be times when you might find that the browser is not responding with the agility you are habituated to. You may find this inadecuate as it brings down the experience of browsing on the internet or even irritating when things get too slow. There are many reasons why this may happen, but doing simple things you could assure that you get the Mozila browser to an optimal state.

You could start making sure that your system has the latest version of the browser. One interesting feature about Mozila is that the browser that is constantly updated and the updates are automatic, so you will not have to do anything special to have the latest version. With this, you can make sure that every newly available technology or software is available to you and also common online malware that are added through browsers are kept away. A similar thing is applicable for all add ons that your computers use, ascertain that they too are up to date so that you will experience a great surfing time.

If your browser is functioning slower than normal after installing the requirements, you must clean the registry of your PC. The registry is the actual control library of your system and is loaded every time you startup your system. After installing new software, the registry becomes cluttered with a lot of new programs or may have a lot of unwanted stuff at times, slowing down all your system and this could be a reason why your Mozila browser is running slow. At times, because of the increasing number of files and undesired patterns of alignment on the disk drive, the usage of the browser becomes slow.

Cleaning The Registry Could Help a Lot

A great solution here is running a worthy registry cleaning program. You shall get quite a few worthy free options on the internet by using just a common search. A good fact about them is that they not only delete the majority of junk folders that could be present in the registry, but even help ensure the maintenance of the registry, that is quite important also.

Lastly, also inspect the status of the computer memory. There may be instances when your RAM is completely filled with programs and a lot of these are fragmented. This could also cause slow surfing. To keep away such things, you might as well defragment your system to be sure that the processes work smoother as well as your computer works fast. In case you find programs that you seldom use, you will better uninstalling them as well, increasing the available disk space while reducing the total stress of the system.

With the procedure explained and put into place the right way, you can be sure that your Mozila browser will run in the best possible condition thus giving you a good response time.

More than 1 year ago I made a little post on my blog with the Title: 5 Reasons Why Google Is NOT Your Friend and curiously, this is the only post on my blog that is not indexed by Google, you could see this by yourself:

Following The Rules

As a search engine optimization expert, I know that sometimes posts that are too short could be left out of the Google index, tipically if those have less than 100 words, but this is not the case for this post. Sometimes, duplicate content also could prevent posts or web pages being indexed by Google, but this is not the case either.

Google’s Wrath

What I suspect is that I was caught by the “Wrath of Google”, which probably consists in some manual adjustment to their index to eliminate inconvenient posts like this one or the other. Does Google respect the first amendment? What do you think? I think not. I wouldn’t be surprised if Google ban all this website after this.

I don’t understand why many people praise Google as if this company was there to help all of us. Google is there mainly to make money and you should understand this before you try to work side by side with them, because if you don’t, your financial stability could be at risk.

#1. A Friend Don’t Change The Rules Without Explanation.

Google changed his algorithm many times, wiping out thousands or even millions of small business owners from their search results in a second pushing them to bankrupt. We are not talking about junk sites (which shouldn’t be there), but real content sites of business owners who don’t know what to do in order to be favored by Google. You even don’t know the rules of the search results and if you don’t know the rules, business is very risky.

f you rely entirely on Google for your future, you are taking an extremely high risk; this is why search engine experts diversify a lot of their endeavors because you cannot trust in Google.

#2. You Are Guilty Unless Proven Innocent.

To Google, every website owner is a wannabe spammer who wants to pollute the search engine with millions of junk sites. In reality, the search engine spammers are a few aggressive marketers, which will do whatever it takes to get traffic to their websites, but the majority of webmasters are guilty by default.

3. Google Is A Corporation Not A Person.

Corporations are like machines, they don’t have feelings, don’t help anybody for the sake of helping, they do it just for profit. Profit is what drives the maneuvers of a corporation, not feelings. How to feel about friends that only help you if you give them money? That’s not a friend, that’s a worker.

4. I Think Google Sometimes Is Deceptive.

Google says that varies the results to bring more quality information to the searcher, but in reality they are pushing people into their PPC advertising machine. That is happening more and more with sites that have a lot of links, lot of popularity and are surpassed in the search results by other companies with less links and less popularity. I wonder if you will only find worthless sites at the top results to push most businesses to their PPC advertising system.

5. Friends Don’t Kill You.

Google sometimes de-list websites without warning. There is nothing wrong with that, it is their company, their search results, they can do whatever they want with this, but when you ban people from the engines, you are affecting other people by your actions. Put it in this perspective: Suppose you build your own road and people start using this road for free every day, but one day you decide that some part of the road shouldn’t be there and you move it without warning all the cars that use that road every day. Instead of a road you leave a hole, many people die as a result but you only say: That wasn’t my fault, they should knew better about using a free road…

This is not ethical my friend.

If you use Google to build your business, I urge you to start building another streams of traffic immediately! Because you could be the next car who fall into the hole and that is not funny at all.

I love my Gmail account, but there is a strange error happening right now that prevents me login into my account. It seems that the masquerade feature that I use to send email as another email account has collapsed.

I use this to protect myself from SPAM

Every time a person contact me by a web form, I create a forwarder in my hosting account and setup a masquerade email to give it to this person so each people has his own personalized email. This allows me to delete any Spam source that appears in my account and all was working fine until I reached more or less 20 email masquerades and now I can’t log into my account.

Is Google Losing Tech Ground?

Hope not, but I can’t login to my Gmail account for several days now and the same message appears every time I try:

(Image edited slightly to accommodate the text).

It says: We apologize, but your account has errors. While those errors last you will be unable to login to your account, but don’t worry, your data and your messages are safe. Our engineers are working to solve this problem.

Needless to say, I already redirected all my incoming forwarders to another email address.

Specific Reasons Why You Should Not Be Using It

First of all, you should know that Internet Explorer isn’t the only software available to surf the web. It is the most used, but not the only one and in our opinion, far from being the most secure.

Specific Reasons Why You Should Not Be Using It

We are not going to be like some “Microsoft haters” and recommend anything but Microsoft, but we are going to be as neutral as possible so you could decide by yourself if you should continue using Internet Explorer or switch to something else in order to protect not only yourself, but also the future development of the Internet.

The reason why I’m writing this post is because you should know if someone is trying to manipulate you or is involved in some questionable business practices that impact directly in the development of the product you use and maybe on the Internet itself, so don’t take this review slightly.

All the reasons in this post are taken from known sources on the Web and this was not intended to scare anybody or push you to adopt some negative posture, this is only probably the most informative article on what you should know about Internet Explorer.

Finally, this is not an attack on Microsoft, which has some excellent software, but an attack to their business practices around Internet Explorer.

Here we go:

1. Microsoft is a very opportunistic company, driven only by profits

This is not bad, since all businesses should look to increase their profits to survive, but when a company uses his position of power to control what software people should be using, that is questionable. Microsoft uses the enormous installed base of Windows to push Internet Explorer far beyond any other company could and take control of the market. That happened in 1,995 when Netscape had more than 90% market share and Microsoft made this move to disappear them.

The debacle of Netscape wasn’t overnight. In 1,996, Microsoft started one of the most prolific software updates in history improving Internet Explorer one version after another every year, till Internet Explorer 6.0, which was the last update of Internet Explorer since many years. Further updates weren’t needed beyond version 6.0 because by that time, Netscape was annihilated, with less than 10% market share.

This killed innovation for a very long time. Why Internet Explorer was updated to 7.0? Probably because Firefox is growing very fast and now is around 10% market share, which proves that Microsoft only moves when there is a serious threat.

2. Microsoft tries to control the Internet

Microsoft doesn’t want standards very much because if all products support the same standards, them it is impossible to differentiate a product by “features”, thus making it less marketable. So, what is the Microsoft solution to this? Create non-standard tags in the HTML language and entice developers to use them so pages that include those new tags look bad in other browsers, making users blame the other browsers, not Microsoft. This is very smart, but also pure evil.

Due to great criticism, Microsoft is leaving this practice, adopting the standards, but who knows how long it will last.

3. It Is A Disaster From The Security Stand Point

In an effort to build feature after feature, the design of Internet was severely flawed and now it is very difficult to make it secure. Even the CERT (Computer and Emergency Response Team) warned at some point that users should not be using Internet Explorer.

The biggest security flaw from Internet Explorer comes from a “feature” known as Active-X. Active-X is a system that allows programs to execute from inside the browser and this is the main source of major security problems.

4. If You Are A Webmaster, You Already Hate Internet Explorer.

We as webmasters are so sick about Internet Explorer flaws on CSS and other standard technologies, that we have to make two versions of our pages so they look good on varios browsers. One version for Internet Explorer and another version of the same page for other browsers.

The best indicator that Internet Explorer is NOT a good program is that most people that try Firefox, don’t regret and never look back to use Internet Explorer another time and this also speaks well for the Firefox Browser.

Spyware is a very serious issue. If you have one of this malicious programs living in your PC, then this software could do any or all of the following:

Steal your passwords and possibly your money.

Steal your information and potentially being a victim of identity theft.

Monitor all your online activity eliminating your privacy.

Entering into your profiles and impersonate you.

Entering into your web hosting account and changing your site.

Among many horrible things. Now take a look into this for a solution:

Kill Spyware Today

How Spyware Could Steal My Money?

Spyware by itself maybe couldn’t steal your money directly, but if the Spyware is malicious, it will be sending all your private information, including your passwords to unscrupulous people who will log in with your details and will start making small transfers to go undetected. Your bank will not be able to know that you are not the one that is accessing your PC from this different location.

Potentially Being a Victim Of Identity Theft

Identity theft is a procedure where some person takes the identity of another, most of the times with the help of falsified documents. The bank issues the credit for the customer, which he has to pay afterwards. This is a very serious issue and you should be well protected in order to stay safe.

Spyware Could Eliminate Your Privacy

If this malicious software could read your passwords, it also could read anything stored or typed at the keyword. Maybe few people will be interested in your personal life unless you are Britney Spears, but criminals could how sensitive information to plan another major strike on you, such as kidnapping or something else.

Spyware Could Impersonate You

Maybe you think that it is very unlikely that someone would be interested in entering to your profile at various services like MySpace and other, but the reality is that spammer do whatever it takes to send email, and if they can use other peoples profiles to get their emails opened, they will no matter what (they are that criminals). This is why not only you should protect your PC with the best anti-spyware program, but also it is recommended to use a different password at each service (could not remember all those passwords? use Roboform and he will).

Spyware Could Enter Into Your Web Hosting Account And Publish Their Stuff

You won’t like the things that usually are promoted by these people in your homepage, until you get aware of it. Things like penis enlargement, Viagra, porn, casino and some of the worst scams of the world. Of course, if they got control of your hosting account, they will be sending a lot of Spam in your behalf, to all your friends promoting these products.
